Advanced Search Options

Any Order

This is the default setting. Selecting Any Order will return every domain name in the selected zones containing each keyword regardless of the order in which they were typed. For example, searching for "first" and "search" will return www.first-search.com and www.searchfirst.com.

Exact Order

Selecting Exact Order will only return domain names in the selected zones where each keyword follows the one preceding it. For example, searching for "first" and "search" will return www.first-search.com, www.myfirstsearch.com, and www.firsttosearch.com. However, www.searchfirst.com would not be returned since "search" precedes "first".

Starts with First Keyword

Selecting Starts with First Keyword will force the search results to return only those domain names that start with the first search term entered, followed by whichever additional keywords are entered. For example, searching for "first" and "search" would only return the domain names that start with "first", followed by "search". In this manner, www.first-search.com would be returned. However, www.myfirstsearch.com would not be returned since this domain name does not start with "first".

Ends with Last Keyword

Selecting Ends with Last Keyword will force the search results to return only those domain names that end with the last search term entered, preceded by whichever keywords are entered first. For example, searching for "first" and "search" would only return the domain names that end with "search", preceded by "first". In this manner, www.first-search.com would be returned. However, www.search-first.com would not be returned since this domain name does not end with "search".

Domain Extensions

The default setting is to return domain names in all zones. Selecting or de-selecting these boxes will include or exclude from the search results domain names located in a particular zone.

Include Keywords

Enter all the keywords in this field that must be contained in the domain names returned. The field must not be blank when submitting a search.

Exclude Keywords

Enter all the keywords in this field that must not be contained in the domain names returned.

Min. Length & Max. Length

You can limit your search results by the length of the domain name. The default settings return all domain names between 1 and 63 characters in length. Changing these settings will allow you to have only the domain names returned that are between the lengths you set.

Exclude Numbers

Selecting Exclude Numbers will return every domain name in the selected zones that do not contain any of the numbers zero through nine (0-9).

Exclude AlphaChars

Selecting Exclude AlphaChars will return every domain name in the selected zones that do not contain any of the alphabetic characters (a-z).

Exclude Dashes

Selecting Exclude Dashes will return every domain name in the selected zones that do not contain any dashes (-).
